Non-profit eases storage issues and reduces risk with email archiving on-demand
With over 1500 full-time employees and a culture that encouraged “saving everything”, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society faced a number of email storage challenges. In addition to the demands on their Exchange server, email PST files were taking up 70% of their network storage, and the growing email problem made it impossible for the IT team to recover email in a reasonable time frame for business, disaster recovery, or legal discovery purposes. Following an IT audit in the fall of 2004, The Texas Credit Union League decided they needed an electronic messaging policy.
