How do I select messages for exporting from Fortiva?
Within the Fortiva web-based user interface, you can create a folder where you can copy and store messages for exporting. Fortiva allows you to select individual items or the entire results of a search query. Using a simple right-click drop-down menu, selected messages can then be copied into the folder for exporting.
You can also perform multiple searches and add the search results to the same folder. Any duplicate items added to the folder are automatically removed, and you can browse through the contents of the folder and remove items as required.

How do I initiate a litigation hold?
When a litigation hold is required, you can create a folder within the Fortiva web-based user interface where you can copy and store messages that need to be "held". The folder and its contents can easily be placed on a litigation hold with the click of a button. Since Fortiva's disposition process requires manual authorization by an appropriate user, if all messages in the archive must be maintained, you can simply avoid authorizing disposition until the matter is resolved.
